Use Adaptic sterile dressings for wound coverage and protection. Its non-adhering design stops the gauze threads from sticking to wounds for a clean and comfortable wound dressing. The Adaptic non-adhering dressing measures 5 x 9 inches to provide ample coverage for most burns or wounds. Featuring a large pore size, the dressing allows discharge to move through the dressing to limit pooling at the wound site. Made from knitted cellulose acetate, it is easy to trim or cut without fragmenting, linting or unraveling. This gauze incorporates a petrolatum emulsion that is ideal for burns, eczema, post-surgery staples and granulating wounds. The non-adherent dressing has a soft texture that minimizes discomfort during application or removal. Use the sterile dressing as a primary dressing, or combine it with a secondary dressing for heavy wounds. Also safe to use under compressive bandaging. The highly absorbent dressing will stay intact even when saturated.
